What is NVDA?

NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) is a free “screen reader” which enables blind and vision impaired people to use computers. It reads the text on the screen in a computerized voice. You can control what is read to you by moving the cursor to the relevant area of text with a mouse or the arrows on your keyboard.

Annual Meeting To Be Virtual

We want to give members plenty of notice that the 2021 Annual Meeting to be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021 will be a VIRTUAL MEETING ONLY due to COVID restrictions.  We plan on providing several different methods to view this meeting. 

We will miss you in-person but we plan on returning to BBQ and fun in 2022.  And yes, we will still have giveaways and virtual prizes for the virtual meeting.  Stay tuned for more information.

Annual Meeting Elections Notice 
(The Nominations for Election Are Published in the December 31st Newsletter-distributed both in mailed statements and e-statements).

  1. 75 Days Prior to the Annual Meeting.  The secretary shall notify in writing all members eligible to vote that nominations for vacancies may also be made by petition signed by one percent of the members with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 500.
  2. The written notice shall indicate that the election will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled.
  3. A brief statement of qualifications and biographical data in such form will be included for each nominee submitted by the nominating committee with the written notice to all members. Each nominee by petition shall submit a similar statement of qualifications and biographical data with the petition.
  4. 30 Days Shall be the Minimum Period for Petitions.  The written notice shall state the closing date for receiving nominations by petition
  5. Nominations by Petition must include a signed certificate agreeing to serve.
  6. 40 days Prior to the Annual Meeting.  Nominations by Petition must be filed with the Secretary.
  7. 35 Days Prior to the Annual Meeting.  The Secretary shall cause to be posted in a conspicuous place in each credit union office all Nominations by Committee and Nominations by Petition.
  8. Floor Nominations shall not be permitted unless a position has no nominee.
