What is NVDA?

NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) is a free “screen reader” which enables blind and vision impaired people to use computers. It reads the text on the screen in a computerized voice. You can control what is read to you by moving the cursor to the relevant area of text with a mouse or the arrows on your keyboard.

Savings & Checking

With a minimum opening deposit of $20.00, you are purchasing a share of the credit union. Dividends are paid monthly based on the average daily balance for the month.

Term Share Certificates 
Term Share Certificates offer a higher-yield alternative to a traditional savings account. A certificate may be opened with a minimum deposit of $2500.00. We offer terms from ninety one (91) days to one (1) year to suit your investment needs. Call the credit union for current rates and yields.

Individual Retirement Accounts
Whether you rollover your funds, directly transfer, or make contributions, we can open an IRA for you. The credit union offers Traditional IRAs. CFCU imposes no opening, closing or maintenance fees. IRA’s are separately insured to $250,000.00 by the NCUA. An IRA offers security for the retirement years and tax savings for today. There is no minimum balance required for IRA accounts.

Checking accounts
Checking accounts are multiple transaction accounts that provide ready access to funds. All checking account holders have unlimited check writing privileges with no monthly fees. Overdraft Protection can be provided from savings or through a line of credit with certain eligibility requirements.


Deposit rates are quoted as an annual percentage yield and any rates quoted must include an effective date or an expiration date.
