Holiday Closing: We will be closed on Saturday, October 10th, and Monday, October 12th, in observance of Columbus Day.

Effective October 1, 2026, City Federal Credit Union has merged with Magnolia Federal Credit Union. In the coming months, we will work to integrate our operations and systems. Please utilize your account as you have previously until the integration is complete. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the personalized service and local commitment you have come to trust, while introducing new products and benefits that will enrich your experience.

Here is some important information to keep in mind while we work on consolidating our systems and processes. Until the system conversion is complete in early 2027, you will continue to use your current debit/credit card and log into the existing (previously City FCU) Online and Mobile Banking platform.

  • Data Processor/Core Conversion- We will be completing our system (core) conversion on February 28, 2027. This transition allows us to serve you with enhanced services and support.
  • Online & Mobile Banking- Once the core conversion is complete, we’ll provide you instructions on how to enroll in Magnolia FCU’s Online and Mobile Banking platform. Our digital banking experience comes with valuable features like credit monitoring, transfers between financial institutions, and many other helpful tools designed to make managing your finances easier than ever. We will send instructions for logging into online banking and downloading our mobile app as we get closer to February 28th, 2027.
  • New Magnolia FCU Debit & Credit Cards- If you currently have a City FCU debit card, be on the lookout for a new card in your mailbox in mid-February. Your new Magnolia FCU debit card will arrive about two weeks before the core conversion. Please keep using your current City FCU card until March 1, 2027. On that day, activate your new Magnolia card and start using it, as your City card will no longer work. Your new card also comes with modern conveniences like tap-to-pay and support for Apple Pay and Google Pay. For those with City credit cards, you can continue using your credit card as usual until you receive future updates. For those wishing to apply for a new credit card, please visit our website and apply for a new Magnolia credit card.
  • Surcharge-free ATMs– Please check the Magnolia website’s Locations Page to review surcharge-free ATM options.
  • Branch Renovations- Please excuse our messes, as we’re not only excited to maintain both branches in Amarillo, but we’re in the process of giving both Amarillo branch locations a facelift. We are confident the finished product will make your experience with us easier and more enjoyable.
  • Par Value Share- In a credit union, a par value share is the minimum ownership share a member must keep on deposit in their primary savings account to maintain membership. If you ever close your account, your par value share is returned to you, provided your account is in good standing. City’s par value is $20, while Magnolia’s is $25. If your primary savings already holds $25 or more, no action is needed. If it holds less, you may deposit the difference (no more than $5) any time before March 1, 2027. If you do nothing, we will transfer the difference from your checking or other savings with us on that date. If you have no other funds on deposit, we will reach out to help. Your membership and accounts are not affected in the meantime.

We truly believe this unique partnership allows our combined institution to flourish and enhance your banking experiences with us.  And, rest assured, member deposits remain fully insured up to $250,000 through NCUA.

Together, we are stronger, and we’re excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Welcome to Magnolia Federal Credit Union – your financial future just got brighter!
