As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, City FCU is equally owned by each member of the credit union, as opposed to shareholders. By opening your Primary Savings account with a minimum of $20, you become a member-owner of the credit union, and can take advantage of all of the accounts, loans and services we offer. Membership with City Federal is is available to employees and retirees of the following Select Employee Groups (SEGs):
- The City of Amarillo
- The City of Canyon
- The City of Panhandle
- Sell and Griffin Attorney’s Office
- Panhandle Regional Planning Commission (PRPC)
- Potter-Randall Appraisal District
- Amarillo Chamber of Commerce (employees only)
- North Heights Linen Service
- Street Volkswagen
- Jiffy Cleaners
- JY Logistics Trucking
- Employee Bridge
- Tyson Foods
- Voting members of Friends of the Amarillo Public Library
In addition, immediate family members of current City FCU members are also eligible to open accounts. This includes:

Once a Member, Always a Member
One you join City FCU, you can remain a member for life; regardless of where life takes you! Even if you leave employment or retire from the company that made you eligible, you may remain a City FCU member for life as long as you maintain an active account.
